Hey Moral hazard, Smile

Ive fixed all bugs and did a few more module updates, but I am traveling right now...this is eDP/3D model only, put may just port it to P170HM when I get home in October...
I´m very interested (and need it ) in this Modded BIOS for an Clevo P170HM too. Thanks for your amazing work.

Is there any possibility to active Nvidia Optimus on Clevo P170HM ? I think if that is possible you can do it.

Thanks for all.[/u]
Will also update first post too, but this project now continues here for 3D & YES Moral Hazard just for you non 3D model.
Thanks for you fantastic work.
Hello Prema and others,

I recently upgraded RAM from 16GB 1600Mhz to 32GB 1600Mhz, but computer sees them as 1333Mhz. I would really like to change memory frequency, but this setting is hidden in BIOS.

How to resolve it? Do I need to flash my bios? Could you send me the good BIOS rom file with brief instruction on how to flash? It would be also great to unlock more BIOS settings.

I have Sager NP8170-S1 with 3D (CLEVOTongue170HM3-1.01.05LS2).
BIOS tag P170HM307. (American Megatrends Inc. 4.6.4, 08/09/2011)
Processor is 2960XM. Video card is GTX 580M.

Thank you in advance for any advice you may have!

P.S. BTW, What is EC and how do I check it?
P.P.S. How to check if memory is XMP or plug and play? Before I had 4x4GB 1600Mhz it worked as 1600Mhz, now bought 4x8GB Samsung So-Dimms that are supposed to be 1600Mhz CL9, but after installing it I see in CPU-Z it as 665.2 Mhz (~1333Mhz). Bought it on eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/310340539865).
Bump. Hoping someone will notice and reply.
What's the RAM part number as shown in CPU-Z SPD tab?

It does not show the part number for some reason.

Well if that CPU-Z reading can be trusted then it runs at its maximum JEDEC speed of 1333Mhz and also has no XMP profiles...
So was this one released? I dont see a link. I have had my Sager P170hm3 (3d screen) for a while now but not flashed the bios on it yet. Is there a link to instructions how to do it as well? And is there a link somewhere on flashing the stock sager bios ? Ive flashed tons of other bios before, on servers, desktops and pcs, just not on this laptop yet.
