I tried flashing the update but it said
Code:
NVIDIA Firmware Update Utility (Version 5.118)
Checking for matches between display adapter(s) and image(s)...
Adapter: GeForce GTX 580M (10DE,1211,1558,7100) H:--:NRM B:01,PCI,D:00,F:00
WARNING: Firmware image PCI Subsystem ID (10DE.0000)

ERROR: PCI subsystem ID mismatch
I believe I can use the -6 flag in nvflash to ignore the mismatch. Is that what I should do?
Use the -6 option and confirm with "y" when asked.
vBIOS updated and confirmed with a "nvflash --compare" but it still complains that
Quote:This laptop's panel is not qualified for 3D Vision
But I've seen it do 3D before on an old GTX485M. Any other BIOS hacks that might fix this up?
How long should this update take? I think it's frozen -_-
Frozen after step 1 or step2? Doesn't matter EC09 is compatible with all but BIOS 01...so just repeat in case it sits there more than a minute...
It froze after the first "Press any key to continue"
Pressed nothing happened. Luckily nothing bricked.
My BIOS is version 01
