I have a Lenovo G50-45 Laptop. I attached my oriiginal BIOS backed up via the Insyde BIOS flash utility. I need to unlock all features if possible. Specifically, what I want to be able to change is the fact that they have locked out the AMD-V (virtualization) feature which I need. Is there any way you could try to help me with this please?
I have a DV7-4285Dx with switching graphics. Intel iGPU/ATI. Is there a menu to unhide and enable and disable internal iGPU? It may say port and or igfx? Is this option there? Can the internal Intel Igpu be disabled? Its been 3 years of me trying to install OSX Mavericks. The only thing that is preventing me from doing so is the Switching Graphics. OSX does not like Optimus or switching graphics on a PC.
I am on F.23 its a 2010 Bios never updated and there is an update for 2011.
Friday I can attach a backup which I have no Idea what to use to do that? I have the tools for AMI AptioV and was able to unhide the menus for my Asus G750JX without any issues to disable CFG lock. It caused kernel panics MSR 0xE2 another thing that plagues OSX installers but there are fixes for this. I figured why bother when I can unhide this option and turn CFG lock on or off myself.
Here is the link to HP newest Bios not sure if you can tell if its RSS encryption enabled or not. I read if it is that you cannot modify the Bios Correct?
Thanks

Hi everyone!
I'm from Brazil.
I have a notebook with a mainbord from compal. In it site (compal.com) we see the model NBLB5 - 15.6" Full HD Display Intel Calpella Platform (Discrete) that "IS" my note. But in the page of BIOS download the archive for this model doesn't process a crisis recovery successfully.
I found that the correct file is pbl11 (or pbl2021), but when I made a successful recovery BIOS has a password and you can not boot on any device. Simply shows the network boot. I can not acess the bios via f2 and f11, f12, del, esc don't work. Boot + password (Only my old pass works) + network boot screen.
Could anyone help me?
Thank you

http://biosrecovery.blogspot.it/2012/06/...sword.html
There are many solutions and at last We can flash a generalized version without password !

Thanks so much BDMaster!
I don't have the original BIOS only the one that I update last year (pbl2021 v2.50).
I belive that the BIOS is "CRASHED" in a kind of "loop". It boots, shows littles thinks very faster and stop on a pwd popup. I put my valid pass and then it goes to a boot lan screen. How I don't have boot for lan it says "no bootable device found...". I'v tried many device to boot from, but nothing.
Flash with a generalized version without password sounds good for me, but I don't have anything similar.
I appreciate your help!
Excuse me my poor english
