I'm using lenovo ideapad z480 /w Geforce 640m. I'm planning to use external GPU adapter which require me to use the mini pci-e adapter. Everytime I plug the external GPU to mini pci-e, the laptop went blank and just shut itself down. I suspect this is related to the wireless card whitelist in the bios, no?

I've tried to search this forum, but most BIOS download link related to my laptop here usually is already dead

I'm new to this BIOS things, I don't know how to backup my BIOS and post it here. Do I need to backup the BIOS first and post it here? the version is 5FCN35WW. Could anyone help? thanks.
