Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

please help me with old version

Hi, any chance of someone being able to unlock the advanced features of this bios:

-Motherboard Manufacturer and Model: Acer Aspire V5-131-10172G50nss
- Bios Revision: 2.17
- Bios Type : Insyde
- Bios Link : http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/...&SC=AAP_10

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Only for 2.04 version otherwise have to downgrade at same version Original Bios !
Downgrade is possible only by Recovery Mode so You need disable SecureBoot and
to do it have to create a Supervisor Bios Password, the use Recovery procedure and file here ,
but are two and I don't know waht is fo your laptop so I have to search on te net as they have
some few little differences between both.
You have rename It as bios.fd and put in formatted USB stick and use Recovery Procedure :

Some plays with advanced menu broke my laptop, recovery does not work for now, still with 2.17 bios
So i have two chips, 1MB and 4MB on motherboard, please give me firmwares which i can directly flash to chips with SPI programmer.
i suggest recovery file is image for chips? which first?

You only need to flash 4MB one...
