Hey..
sorry for the delayed answer - its the same for me. The main tab shows every time 128mb but in windows the usable ram decreases.
But for now i have a problem and dont know what to do..
Yesturday i've set the vram to 1024mb, just for testing and now the notebook wont start - the screen keeps black.
I cant find a way to reset the Bios, is there any?
The following things i have tried:
- EC reset
- all different ways to start (with battery, without, ...)
- connect an external monitor
- start without ram (i think the ram is bad..) to get an error
nothing of this works.
I've read in this threat ( http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-RE...171--15978 ) about an emercency reset. May it could help for my problem?

Btw. or do you think it could be a hardware fault? And if, is there a way to flash it back to a original bios? Dont know what happens if acer see the unlocked bios if I sent back the notebook.
Thanks guys!

Hi friend,
the Bios Mod is based on a Bios backup so It's customized and every user have to make a own result file (flashing Others will get a laptop clone missing your original data) so use this tool and run It as Administrator, the upload here your result file :

Hi BDMaster!
It seems that the script doesn't like my Windows 8 setup too much. I have dumped the BIOS using FPT 8.1 under DOS. Would that work for you? Thanks!
The BIOS dump is here: https://mega.co.nz/#!wQ9QhSCB!YfauwouqZV...7euzn35cPk

Ok friend,
Try to do this as NEW_BACKUP_FPTs.exe working from Windows Desktop don't gave error !
Extracto pics from result file and look !
So We have to use FPTw.exe present into NEW_BACKUP_FPTs !
Unpack NEW_BACKUP_FPTs.exe using 7Zip and copy 8.1.10.1286 folder to C:\ (HD C then rename to easely It like FPT and copy Bios File Modded bios.bin into !
Then open a Comand Prompt as Admin rights and go to c:\FPT directory using comand :
cd c:\FPT (hit enter)
once You stay there give this comand :
fptw -f bios.bin -bios
Let me know
regards
I know that It's difficult so I prepared for You the FPT folder . . .
Here your FPT file ready to be unpacked and copied in HD C:
