Hi, @Dudu2002 !
Would you please remove whitelists and unlock the advanced menu settings in the bios below:

Thanks for your help
(for a ThinkPad T440p)
Hi folks,
I'm confused with removing the whitelist restriction on T440p.
Some posts indicate bios ver 2.36 has the whitelist removed and downgrading will allow other wifi cards. I've tried this and get the following bios error message using a DW1820A.
"1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the network card. (14E4/43A3/1028/0023)
1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the network card. (0A5C/6412)"
Is this downgrade option a myth or only works in special circumstances. Just looking for the least painful method to add a compatible hackintosh card.
I have a SPI-programmer+SOIC8 clip coming on Friday, am wondering if I'm best off upgrading to the latest bios on my t440p before doing a dump, or if an earlier version is better? Can anybody provide any insight? Thanks in advance.
