Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

Very happy with the patched 68DTV F.18 BIOS for my NW8240, however the blue wifi LED now comes on when I DISABLE wireless. Can this be fixed or is it because I'm using an odd card?

Is it possible to have the BIOS Modded (whitelist removed) for a HP Mini 1154nr.

I have tried some tutorials but I cannot seem to accomplish this.

Upon opening the WinPhlash 32 or 64 bit, click "Advanced Settings" then check and uncheck the boxes so it looks like this:

[ ] Verify BIOS image size
[ ] Verify BIOS checksum
[ ] Zero block before erasing

Thank You for Your answert, but theres something i dont get - I believe the BIOS You provided is different from what Ive asked, revision nr is F.5A not F.59 and softpaq numbers are different. Sorry if its a lame question but Im not sure if it will "fit". Its kinda new for me Is it the same? Why are the rev nrumbers different?

There is hundreds of HP laptops, you've just omit to precise the concerned model for your short, imcomplete request, you just gave a version an bios link.

If you want to know if it's the latest version or not, you must go on HP site and search yourself. (as i've done)

next time be more precise in your request, otherwise i will ignore it.

sorry for inconvenience... my hp model is 6799ew (european-polish model), on polish hp support site the latest bios for this model is F.58, I found F.59 somehow and didnt know that F.5A is newer. Didnt really know it exist. Thanks alot for the info and the link. Best regards!

the model is not 6799ew, but HP pavilion dv6799ew, if your bios model is 30CC you can use this F.5A generic version for all pavilion dv6xxx models with intel processor.
note: sp42153.exe F.59 is also for 30CC machines

and i will not develop a patch for versions n-1, n-2....

Can anybody remove the whitelist frpm F 16 BIOS HP NX9020?
It cames without wireless card and I want to install intel 2200bg.
Flashing the card in linux seems to not work in my case
