Hi,

I'm glad I found this forum, Lenovo's support is everything but helpful and I have a bricked Lenovo Z570 machine that is not able to boot any Windows 7 retail disc or Ubuntu disc (to perform a recovery). My partition table is a mess right now (can not boot anything) and I can not reinstall either since every single disc I try (including Boot Repair) will not boot, crash or hang as with Windows 7 one that hangs at the "Starting Windows" screen.

My machine came with a certain BIOS version, l was able to install a retail Windows 7 Pro and dual Ubuntu 12.04 boot BUT then I had the TERRIBLE idea of updating my BIOS to 45CN38WW and now it seems it will not boot anything!!!

I'm looking for an old version of the BIOS for this computer or a modified (hopefully) one, I'm willing to contribute or pay for the help since my machine is complete useless right now.

hi has anyone unlocked the lenovo z570 bios pci hotplug, i am trying to get a egpu up and running and pulling my hair out at the same time lol.
anyone got the unlocked bios rom they could send me.

First make bios dump
Check your PM

both the tool failed to pull the bios but i have the rom file and a wph file.

this is the z570 bios and a dump from the program and bios from lenovo website, the other files i posted first are from a diff laptop but the same motherboard, i have flashed the bios with them and they work fine.

Can you please help me  on the below:

1 . I have lenovo ideapad 570z laptop with windows 7, unfortunately i forgot the SVP password,
2. so i tried to recover/reset it by reinstalling the bios from  lenovo support site , but it failed.
3 . During resetting/reflashing, it makes the changes to default, by which Intel-VT got disable.

So here i am looking for some modded/tweaked bios by which i can use Intel VT on my laptop

So i will be very thankful to you if you help.
