ok thank you, i know im a noob but never ever tried to upgrade a pc hardware, will order 1 gig at17 pounds and and see how it goes, rom amazon.co.uk 1 gig £17.

Well if you use the custom BIOS found in the Award Unlocked Section of the site you could do a lot with it. If you really are interested in a new board though you would want to buy one at http://newegg.com and you would be looking for a Micro-ATX DDRII compatible AM2+/AM3 board capable of Phenom II.

I can recommend boards if you need help.

yes mr wiz, i wanted to upgrade but was baffled by all different mobos.lol

right well here goes, got choice,
you see this board that goes in an acer t180 will a 7750 kuma 2.7 ghz go in it?? it is an am2+ cpu will it work with the abit bios ??? got choice here amd 5000+ non be, or kuma 2.7 7750 ???#

kuma wont post or anything monitior stays off doesnt even start just lights up at front fans running ??? any ideas

I also have the same board and purchased a Black Edition 7850 I have a R01- B3 Bios I heard I may need the R01- B4. How do I get this CPU to work as I'm in the same boat as the guy above.
