Is there any chance you still have the file??

Thanks SO much for doing it, and i'm sorry I didn't come back sooner.

I had to re-register, the password link I was sent didn't work and the Contact Us page didn't work.

Thanks again for all the work.

Do you need a copy of Office Or Windows? I can PM you a key for all of the hard work.

I will try to redo It

Hi all.

May I ask you for a favor?
I have aurora r4 board and xeon e5-2609.
I have tried to extract the rom from a11.exe. No luck(knowledge).
Could you, please, re-upload the bios image file?
I need to mod A11 bios with updated microcode to support xeon e5-2609.

thanks!

Bios A11 Image Reuploaded + Gift :

Ho to Unlock Menu Settings . . .

Hi friend,

Here is the last AMIBCP version 4.55 :

http://rghost.net/59893020

Here is a Tutorial to modify AMI Aptio Bios :

http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads...MSR-unlock!

Follow CodeRush Suggestions :

It's certanly not so easy for BIOSes with another menu setup, but the whole idea is the same.
I could also recommend trying AMIBCP to modify menu entries vilibility from "Default" to "USER",
if your menu setup is more complex then a setup above.

I have to flash my image on the administrator commandline using afuwinx64 bios_mod.rom /GAN . . .
Otherwise it gives me a security error (Thanks again CodeRush)

Let me know

I successfully was able to upload the FW with the older dos version that supports GAN (as stated in the linked thread), but I still don't see any additional menus when using AMIBCP; the date change I made with that SW did update in the BIOS so I know the flash and SW worked well enough...just need to get the menus to show up...I need to check, but I am pretty sure I was also able to enable VT-D (which was my goal)...just have to fire up a linux distro and run modprobe, but I did enable it by by loading both optimal and default settings...would just be nice to have the menu vs enabling in the upload...any ideas to insure the menus get flagged to show?  The link provided was very helpful btw.  As a sidenote to anyone messing with these FWs...A5 will allow downgrades, but the others won't.  If anyone has any ideas on how to make the menus view-able that would be awesome...despite a very similar FW format to the OP of that linked  thread I was still unable to make sure I was at the right HEX location for editing and had to use AMIBCP which didn't affect the menus despite moving them to user.  Any Ideas?  Once I confirm VT-D and unlocked menu support I will  upload it.  THX for all the great post, learned so much in the last day from them and the links!

Smile   The first link is the new UefiBiosUpdater O (awesomeness)!!!!!! 2nd Link is how I found how to get the Menu Unlocked Heart  (Page 3) same code as this bro. just a different spot for the A4 the Code change for was just the same as his though so it was obvious --  00 00 00 00 00 00 01 01 01 01 01 to 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 = ALL Unlocked MENUS (I didn't take time to make it pretty just unlocked it all, I can do that next revision) -- (just search with hex editor to find that first part to confirm my edit)

This bios is untested so use at own risk Huh ....if anyone can test please do...I am waiting on a Universal Programmer before I flash it just to make sure I can recover a badflash. ALL USERS ARE WELCOME TO USE AT OWN RISK, F Angry DELLINTHEBUTT as USUAL. especially the support-less crap staff, PEACE OUT.

Exclamation Flashing Tip ^ You can flash with AFUDOS.exe (I used a older version that had /GAN for sure) and bootable usb key made with RUFUS(https://rufus.akeo.ie/). Command = afudos.exe A11-Unlocked.rom /GAN Exclamation
