Aopen DE7000 Bios 1.07
#1
Hey All.
Thanks for this great Forum.
Is it possible for someone to unlock features in this bios?

http://global.aopen.com/userdownload_declaration.aspx?RecNo=12369&Model=3026

I have a Aopen De7000. The fan spins up really fast,
evenĀ if the CPU is not very hot ( I think Aopen did set the fullfan setting to low).

Someone who can help?

Best Regards

Lots of settings in there hidden from you! Give me a few minutes and I will upload unlocked mod BIOS for you

Fan mod is set to "Silent and HD Playback Mode" so sounds like it should be quiet, maybe you need to redo thermal paste and clean out fans/ducts etc. Looks like you can see this setting @ Advanced >> Hardware Health Config - can you not see this setting or section of the BIOS?

Anyway, give me a little bit and I will unlock if all for you.

Here is fully unlocked BIOS

Filedropper is down, and I'm also in need of this BIOS. I grabbed the original unmodified BIOS from web archive and flashed it to the box I have here, and it's fully functional. I'm attaching it since AOpen have removed all traces of it from their site and wish to forget it was even a product.

Also a note, this machine seems to hate all RAM configurations over 4GB even though the memory controller should be capable of 8.
I'm wondering if this is because there's an option in the BIOS for a memory hole somewhere that has been set improperly or something.

Couldn't wait, I ended up doing it myself.

Fully unlocked with all options available. This should also work for AOpen GP7A-U and GP7A-HD motherboards as these are the exact same motherboard with a different ID. Verified by flashing one of the GP7A BIOSes to my machine.

in order to flash the BIOS to a GP7A board you need to add /x to the batch file.
