Asus F3f
#1
I've got an f3f with a locked bios version 301. I can see in windows that i have 4gb of ram but the bios will tell it has 3gb.

Could you unlock this bios?

Thanks

This feature is nothing to do with the bios im afraid. You are using a 32bit edition of windows which can only support (See and use) around 3.25gb RAM. To use more than this to have to upgrade to windows 64 bit edition

Kind Regards

I'm using windows 7 64 bit. But windows can see that is has 4gb but only 2,87gb is usable (videocard is 256mb). I've installed 4gb kingston hyperx, there are no further issues.

Any idea?
