Asus Z170I Pro Gaming bios unlock?

I've seen around forums that it's possible to have 8th and 9th gen support on older boards, i have an old Z170I Pro Gaming board that 'd love to use with a 9th gen CPU, since for some reason, they are cheaper than most 6th or 7th gen.

Is it possible to unlock this boards bios to support those CPUs? AFAIK you need to mod the CPUs too, but that's not an issue for me to do.
