Change gateway lx 6810 bios setting to ahci

Hey, im sorry if this post is in the wrong section i dont know much about the bios. okay im trying to change my gateway lx sata to achi in the bios but apparently its greyed out or something. could someone help me out to change this or maby their is a bios mod or somthing thanks this is greatly appreciated
