Dell slic & ich - E520 + a preamble about General dead pc troubleshoot

I was to add an endorsement to anot her request below - slic for antique a64 board msi-7125 as I have beloved old wkstn I would stiĺ use daily until I thought gfx card had died... but thought why not if finished upgrading other machines for al the family. But it looks more serious as I now try with gfx from other machine and I get no obvious output.... but machine powers on on demand, drives spool up..... but it seems gfx cards are not being powered up, .. So I am now thinking is it possible the pcie port died, or the north bridge (which had fan removed and run daily WITHOUT issue for 7yrs.... did have an undervolt I'm pointing at it.... and system died months ago in cold weather... and within 40secs of startup... point being chip fine for v long time and machine not used for gaming but lots of hotswaping hdds withbthat wonderful nvidia chipset feature....... i could hve sworn it was cooked gfx MAD are demons - just had an HP DVD to deal with - with dual amd gfx - but it runs at over 100° C !!! when not in windows with win dry calming it down - shut down so many times when I was performing many tasks on it from PE live CD environments.... doing the usual of imaging, testing etc of another farm members laptop... with as it turns out dead screen & kb.. still managed to get win10 on though..... but God does it get hot, scary, burnT myself handling the plastic case!

So looks like dead mono.... shame wouldve liked to have seen Win10 on the oldest compact hard war - a single core ath64.

BACK TO BIOS TOPIC....... reason allowed myself to ramble above is topicncovred before.... So someone will have answer alreday done and sitting in a repository .. just need to post it.. as all links out there and in this post below are dead:

I,'ve had this machine New unused in its box for years..... it had vista on so I wouldn't use it, and del screwed up order but life gotmin way of arguing a return...but that's another long saga .

So pristine e520.. I have already set Win10 on it and runs fine....... only issue (to me) is non speed step cup (so maybe that is next task see if ebay)...

I gather there is another issue about BIOS having inch v6 module and many folks think it should take v8.x.x .

SO IN SUMMARY LOOKING FOR 2.40 SLIC 2.1 BIOS FOR E520, which sh ould be as simple as putting up a live link to previously done work (I,'ve tried navigating various Chinese sources but they too seem dead or need registering.... in Chinese! beyond me)....... AND AS A POSIBLE LIVE REQUEST WHETHER THE ICH8 RAID UPDATE IS AVAILABLE AS WELL..... TOGETHER.

BUT AS SLIC TABLE IS MORE USEFUL and relevant links to correct flasher & how to. Just flashed a TOSH satellite by accident! As tosh download auto flashed without prompting OR warning which was a bit scary
