I don't own a compaq dx2450 but do own an m2n68-la narra3 board rev 3.02 with hp p/n 5189-1661 & updated the bios to 5.63

be sure to create & run a bootable usb flash drive and flash update using awdflash.exe (the zip package has awdflash for asus 1.32 and awdflash 8.94; either one will work fine) - must do this while not running windows
