HP DX2300 (MS-7336): New CPU Support

Hello!  
I have an MS-7336-VER-1.0 motherboard with the Intel 946GZ chipset, which supports dual-core processors. Its BIOS is here: https://soggi.org/motherboards/msi-oem/M...0.htm#bios
There's also a GA-946GMX-S2 motherboard with the same Intel 946GZ chipset, which also supports quad-core processors. Here's the BIOS page: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-...pport-Bios
Is it possible to add quad-core processor support to the MS-7336-VER-1.0 BIOS?

What's your "quad-core processor"? Explain exactly what happens when you try to boot with .

The processor is a Core™ 2 Quad Q6600. When I installed it, I just got a black screen and the system wouldn't boot. I'll upload the CPU-Z tab later—the computer isn't assembled yet.
