Hello:
I have an old HP Touchsmart 320-1050
CPU Type                                               QuadCore AMD A6-3600, 2100 MHz (21 x 100)
Motherboard Name                                  Pegatron 2ACB
Motherboard Chipset                               AMD A55, AMD K12

BIOS link:  https://support.hp.com/ca-en/drivers/sel...p-118433-1

I read somewhere A8 3850 is supported, so i bought a 3850 chip from ebay. I am using a dell 240w power, the 100w TDP should not be a problem. However, when i plug it in, i got this "unsupported cpu error". Can anyone help to modify the bios so the new chip is supported, many thanks.

Run:
SAFUEFI AN2_715.rom /p /b /n /r
and show results.

Or use afudos instead of safuefi:
1. Download AMI Flash Utilities
2. Extract afudos.exe from amiflash\Aptio\afudos\afudos.zip\AfuDos\

So you need modded safuefi, but I haven't it yet.
Or you can flash BIOS mod by hardware programmer.
