Try this one.

to flash it when WinFlash screen is shown, click on Advanced options. After a while a new pop window opens, with 3 tabs, in the Flag tab just mark "Verify block after programming" and "Disable Axx swapping automatic detection". And in DMI tab choose in the dropdown menu "Update the BIOS and not DMI".

Then click Accept, and then Flash BIOS.

This also did not work... The "Verify block after programming" and "Disable Axx swapping automatic detection" were already checked but I had to pick the "Disable Axx swapping automatic detection" option and then I flashed.
I still get the error message.
My old card info:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4222&SUBSYS_135B103C&REV_02\4&2F707902&0&00E3
My new card info:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4229&SUBSYS_11008086&REV_61\4&2F707902&0&00E3

Looking for my original (still working) WiFi adapter.
The serches are independant of each other, first VEN & DEV 86 80 22 42 and I uncover 2 instances. Each instance is found in BIOSCOD3.ROM

At this point I am unsure if the two VEN & DEV numbers found in BIOSCOD3.ROM have anything to do with the four SUBSYS address found in MOD_5100.ROM
What needs to be changed to get my new card to work?

Any ideas or thoughts?

I was unable to download a Trojan free version of Universal BIOS backup. I used the copy of Phoenix Secure Winflash from your last BIOS update and it worked fine. I am unable to upload my BIOS backup to your share folder sites as I am not a member and cannot afford to become a member. Is there a free site we can use so I can upload my BIOS backup?

I used the version of Phoenix Secure WinFlash to backup my BIOS and it worked fine. I was able to upload my backup file to

First link you uploaded it didin't work for me too.

I have an HP dv6 6151es and it maked the same problem that the another user reported to you. I think you will do it.

I modified my BIOS and I am up and running my Intel 4965 AGN card beyond the BIOS. My card sees and "connects" to my AP but I am unable to pass traffic . I am now working on the drives to see what is going on. My change to the BIOS is as follows:
OLD CARD

I am up and passing traffic over my new Intel 4965 card after my BIOS mod listed above. I have a channel width issue with my WiFi router in N only mode. I am moving on but my card is connecting with ~115 Meg of traffic, very nice.. :-)
