Question about BIOS whitelist removal request.

Try this one.

to flash it when WinFlash screen is shown, click on Advanced options. After a while a new pop window opens, with 3 tabs, in the Flag tab just mark "Verify block after programming" and "Disable Axx swapping automatic detection". And in DMI tab choose in the dropdown menu "Update the BIOS and not DMI".

Then click Accept, and then Flash BIOS.

and let me know Smile

This also did not work... The "Verify block after programming" and "Disable Axx swapping automatic detection" were already checked but I had to pick the "Disable Axx swapping automatic detection" option and then I flashed.
I still get the error message.
My old card info:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4222&SUBSYS_135B103C&REV_02\4&2F707902&0&00E3
My new card info:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4229&SUBSYS_11008086&REV_61\4&2F707902&0&00E3

Looking for my original (still working) WiFi adapter.
The serches are independant of each other, first VEN & DEV 86 80 22 42 and I uncover 2 instances. Each instance is found in BIOSCOD3.ROM

Offset (h)
00002390 AD 24 86 80 9A 10 FF 02 02 AD 24 86 80 22 42 FF
Offset (h)
00002510 26 81 3B 86 80 22 42 74 18 67 66 26 81 3B 86 80

My second search is for SUBSYS 3C 10 5B 13 and I uncover a single instance found in file MOD_5100.ROM

Offset (h)
0000F300 3C 10 64 13 3C 10 65 13 3C 10 5B 13 3C 10 5C 13
0000F310 3C 10 5D 13 3C 10 5E 13 3C 10 5F 13 86 80 00 10

But I also noticed that the SUBSYS address is incremented by one for the next three sequential addresses.

Offset (h)
0000F300 3C 10 64 13 3C 10 65 13 3C 10 5B 13 3C 10 5C 13
0000F310 3C 10 5D 13 3C 10 5E 13 3C 10 5F 13 86 80 00 10

I have not found any instances where 3C 10 5B 13 86 80 22 42 is listed in it's entirety.

At this point I am unsure if the two VEN & DEV numbers found in BIOSCOD3.ROM have anything to do with the four SUBSYS address found in MOD_5100.ROM
What needs to be changed to get my new card to work?

Any ideas or thoughts?

I was unable to download a Trojan free version of Universal BIOS backup. I used the copy of Phoenix Secure Winflash from your last BIOS update and it worked fine. I am unable to upload my BIOS backup to your share folder sites as I am not a member and cannot afford to become a member. Is there a free site we can use so I can upload my BIOS backup?

I modified my BIOS and I am up and running my Intel 4965 AGN card beyond the BIOS. My card sees and "connects" to my AP but I am unable to pass traffic . I am now working on the drives to see what is going on. My change to the BIOS is as follows:
OLD CARD
0000F2E0 E4 14 11 43 E4 14 12 43 86 80 22 42 FF FF FF FF
0000F2F0 3C 10 60 13 3C 10 61 13 3C 10 62 13 3C 10 63 13
0000F300 3C 10 64 13 3C 10 65 13 3C 10 5B 13 3C 10 5C 13

NEW CARD
0000F2E0 E4 14 11 43 E4 14 12 43 86 80 29 42 FF FF FF FF
0000F2F0 3C 10 60 13 3C 10 61 13 3C 10 62 13 3C 10 63 13
0000F300 3C 10 64 13 3C 10 65 13 86 80 00 11 3C 10 5C 13
and this was done in the MOD_5100.ROM module. I then created a new BIOS file and flashed to my system.
If I can be of any help/ answer any questions please let me know

I am up and passing traffic over my new Intel 4965 card after my BIOS mod listed above. I have a channel width issue with my WiFi router in N only mode. I am moving on but my card is connecting with ~115 Meg of traffic, very nice.. :-)
