It should support 2x4GB RAM. But you need to use SODIMMs with 8 chip on each size.

2x4gb are the same model sodimm with 8 chips each sides

Hello there, Im using aspire 8930g-844G32Bi
I have installed and modded the cpu heat sink to hold it below 70 degrees at 4,1Ghz with
The main problem is the overclocking is applying via Throttlestop and it resets after rebooting
Is there any possible way to unlock its bios overclock feature or write the overclock parameters right into the laptop bios ?
