[REQUEST] Dell Inspiron 5570 BIOS Unlock

I tried to mod and flashed this BIOS in order to undervolt this device GPU ( MSI AB and other software didn't work ) but when I tried to flash it via FPT with the command : "fptw64.exe -f edited.rom -bios" I received: "Error 368: Failed to disable write protection for the BIOS space.

FPT Operation Failed." 
Please help me unlock this BIOS and it would be great if you can help me set the voltage offset for this GPU
Bellow is a BIOS I moded to tried to undervolt the GPU please take a look at it if you have the time as well

Download this tool then uncompress efi folder on a usb stick .

Reboot system ,boot this usb device from uefi mode ,i think you'll see like below .

Try type setup_var 0x463 0x00 then press enter ,it will post some message and told you if value of Variable 0x463 set to 0x0
ctrl+alt+del ,reboot and remove usb stick ,then going to os.

Try fpt -f parameter again .

What you changes on bios??

Could you test dump bios by afuwin??

Thank you for your reply, my friend has experience with bios mod before so he is helping me do this. I get a backup rom from FPT and then get the DUMP with Phoenix, then we try to find the rom has <> inside,mod it, replace it in the rom using Phoenix and tried to flash it. this is where I I'm stuck at

Can you please take a look and correct it if we've done something wrong ? Because with our lack of knowledge we still didn't sure this BIOS we mod going to work or not

The method that I told you ,is in order to solve problem of fpt flashing ,you can try if fpt can by pass flash .
It like bios setting value change .


As for , bios and extracted module that you provide , i guess you want to modify vbios then replace new one.
That's not my expert ,so i can't you out .

I have a question according unlocking/modding my Inspiron 5570 Bios. There is issue with this laptop with nvme working mode. As its real Pciex 3.0 x4 , lanes are working in GT2 low mode halving its output. Dell is promising from months to relase firmware fixing this. Question is  , is modding bios really soo hard to change nvme lane mode from GT2 to GT4 ?

Inspiron 5570 Core I3-8130U with UHD graphics 620 and 5400rpm HDD SATA AHCI mode

Is it better to modify a later version of bios or not?

Is a bin file required to modify the settings? because I have the HDR file and got stuck?
Do I really need a hex editor to crack!
Or is there a user friendly editor?

I would like to be able to overclock/undervolt this laptop GPU, but other than that I would also appreciate any hidden option. I don't know how to get .bin file out of the .exe bios so this is the Bios .exe from Dell
If you guys are able to mod this Bios please include some instruction on how to flash it as well

hello, could you re upload the UEFI tool ? I'm having the same problem. but the files seem to be removed
