I ran it as Administrator. I shows some errors and the software selected x32,but my os is x64
So, it's safe to flash your bios?

Thanks, it sucessfully unlocked the bios pages and so far no trouble ( 10 minutes running).

I flashed this in the hope to fix the fan speed problems the lenovo g560 has. I was able to change the fan temperature settings but the bios is not using them so it is not of any help to me (also for future references!). The amount of options that is unlocked is overwhelming btw!

Working on upgrading an old laptop and trying to get everything as up to date as possible. There's actually a modded image for BIOS revision 29CN38WW for this model (http://www.mediafire.com/file/uqbue0xurb...ttings.rar), but I'm looking to modify a newer release. I'm mostly just looking for advanced options and power options to be unlocked.

I'm also curious if it would be possible to remove the wireless card blacklist and to see if the Core i7-640M is compatible, or if any of the quad-core CPUs on Socket G1 could be made compatible.
