Hello experts,

I found few threads for whitelist removal for T410i, mainly I found the following files...

ThinkPad_T410_6iuj29us_6IET85WW_NWL.rar

ThinkPad_T410_6iuj29us_6IET85WW_SLIC_NWL_DOS.rar

ThinkPad_T410_6iuj29us_SLIC_NWL_M2.rar (however link not working)

Can you please what are the differences in the above files or which one is the best possible patch?

While browsing the forums, I saw that some people complain about 2 * 5 beeps problem. Is there any of the above that was able to get rid of the problem?

I have T410i that came with Windows 7 Home 32bits but recently I upgraded to Windows 10 Home via free MS updates.

Thanks.

I'm running Linux (Ubuntu) so I am wondering how I can upgrade my BIOS without having access to Windows. I can't run the WinPlash exe. I'm thinking I can boot from my USB drive so I'd need a modded BIOS image or iso file.

Original BIOS exe download link: https://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc...uj16us.exe
Original BIOS iso download link:  https://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc...uj16uc.iso

My current network card is a Centrino Wireless-N 1000 [Condor Peak].

I'm trying to install an Intel Dual Band Wireless AC-7260.

backup BIOS with Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0 https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1740....45%29.rom
Original bios https://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc...uj29us.exe

Where I can find the newest Update? The link above doesn't work?
I also have a problem that my laptop starts, I see it's on for about 10 Seconds then the BIOS starts to load. When I shut it down it doesn't power off completely the harddrive still turns and the machine keeps on.

Best Regards,
baschi
