The current version only gives DPTF, BIOS/SSD password, Safe boot/Fast boot options. I would love a bios that enables all other options.... Possibly whitelist the wifi too... but I'll save that for another thread.

The yoga 2 pro is a windows 8.1 ultrabook 2-in-1 laptop. Unless you break this thing, you can't get rid of the keyboard.

Also, I pm'ed you a link to the files. I don't know what to share computer specific information with the world.

I want to start a New Way to pass Mods to users :

AutoMod

Using CodeRush Tool UEFIPatch + Patches.txt We can do the Mod by ourself, in any time and wherever We are !!!

Just use the right Patches.txt for the own Bios Version, so for 76CN38WW use this one !!!

How to use ? It's easy, just do a biosbackup.bin file and drag&drop on UEFIPatch.exe (the Patches.txt file has to be togheter at tool) It will reply with a file patched, then rename that file as bios.bin, put It into modified folder where are all rest tools to re-flash Bios Mod and copy all files from modified folder to an USB Dos Formatted Bootable Stick and Boot from USB !
Then at CLI Prompt Comand run flash.bat That's It all !

You're right and I wrote in a post that I will do this way, but Sml6397 wanted
publicate in yours Wiki space all mods etc. !
He didn't that and I loose time to preprare everytime the files.
Next time I will start to post only rows to add at standard Patches.txt file into
CodeRush UEFIPatch tool folder :

Thanks BDMaster for all your help.

To all: Unfortunately, the Y2P cannot be flash without an external programer connected directly to the BIOS. I doubt many of us will subject a $1,200+ computer to this for whitelisting (when the 7260 AC card only cost $40 and fixes the Yoga's wifi problems.)... Also, the hassle/risk is not worth the extra BIOS option ([censored] the fact that I cannot password protect my boot options -.-)....



Oh well, we have been leNOvo'd again -.- ....

previous version and hope that your Eeprom will again writable as actualy is

Error 280: Failed to disable write protection for the BIOS space!
