Hi,
I took a look at the Sony downloaded file again and I see that it  did not include PHLASH.INI, so try copying the one I posted but be sure to change the "C:\xxxxx.wph" line to match your file name and your file location.  Apparently, I got the PHLASH.INI file from other installations of the program before I downloaded the Sony version.  I used this on a VGN-FE41M which previously had R0200J3. My WinPhlash version is 1.4 build 11100. I used a Win7PE boot CD and ran the program from a usb drive. http://www.sony-asia.com/support/download/60517 is a link for the Sony version if you have any doubts that yours is not the right Sony version. Good luck!

.zip   winplash hack.zip (Size: 121.35 KB / Downloads: 37) OK, I managed to get a modified sony bios tool that is unlocked and will downgrade or upgrade your bios!

Anyway, even though i managed to get the modified bios flashed I was still locked out as the bios menu had a password (I mistakenly thought flashing the bios would remove it, it didnt!) and I had to get an unlock code from Sony (thanks Sony!).

Its late here, but tomorrow I will upload pics of the new bios menu Smile

Edit:

Ok I have uploaded a photo album of the new menu's available in the modified bios

Photo album AR11M modified bios

Have added the hacked Sony Phoenix Bios updater Winphlash V1.4 build 11100 take care when using it can upgrade or downgrade your bios should you wish to.I just needed something to flash the same bios version but one that was modified & the official Sony Winphlash wont let you do
