[REQUEST] Supermicro X7DWN+
#1
Hi there, could someone please add the microcodes for XEON LGA771 CPUs?

Brand: Supermicro
Model: X7DWN+
Bios: Phoenix (new version)
Rev.: v1.2c
URL: http://www.supermicro.com/support/resour...px?ID=1116

If you're able to update other parts of the BIOS, please do so Smile

Edit:
I've written a small tool, which looks for the latest microcodes from Intel's website inside unpacked UPDATE00.ROM. I can find traces of these files:
Code:
cpu00000695_plat00000010_ver00000007_date20041109.bin

you don't need to update microcode to it .
It's already has newer microcode (date 2010 is newer),tyan s5397 still using the microcode with date 2008 .

Thanks. So my self-written tool wasn't that bad. I wrote in in PHP Heart

I think, I'll upgrade and clean the server and sell it then. The performance of an actual i7 is much better than this 30 kg monster Confused
