I'm not certain that it is a whilist problem, because windows 7 detects the card, installs the drivers, but it isn't activated. And I don't have a "hard Switch", and in BIOS the "switch" it's activated.

Any advice?

If the boot process does not complain about the new wifi card then i guess is not whitelist problem.

I think you must research in google about the PCI-e pinout, there's a pin (can't remember now what number) that handles the hardware switch to turn on and off, try to put a bit of isolate tape in that concrete pin of your wifi card before inserting in the PCI-e.

Toshiba use the fn + f8 key to toggle the wifi on and off, you cant use it until you install Toshiba value added package. Basically go to the Toshiba site and install the drivers for the laptop.

Just checked and it's Pin 20 (I guess for every mini - PCI-e).

It's working now

with "power" the pin 20 disables the radio.
Just had to "cut" the power. (some tiny piece of electric tape did the trick).

sorry, but it doesn't work. I also checked the Bios, and it was activated.
Maybe it's a bug... don't know...

I did BIOS hack for my L500 laptop yesterday for a AR5008 chip. It worked successfully (using latest 2.10WIN BIOS).

There's non whitelisted bios already in my second folder. In 100% confirmed zone.
