I did search the forum, but didn't see a thread that fits my laptop's description. Sorry if I misread and the BIOS did got modded before. Here's my laptop's info:

This laptop came with a intel Wifi Link 1000, which doesn't offer dual band. I'm trying to install the intel Advance-N+ 6250 with WifiMax to run on my laptop (without getting the wireless module not supported error). Thank you before hand.
