[REQUEST] Lenovo G710 BIOS Whitelist Removal
Music
There is no chips of this type near to the chipset but, on the other side of the motherboard there are two chips. One of it is W25Q16V the other one is W25Q32V.
But 16V looks totally flushed!

Edit: looks like first time didn't read the Q32V right so i upload another file. Think this time is Okay.

Attached Files
.bin   W25Q16V.bin (Size: 2 MB / Downloads: 21)
.bin   W25Q32V-2.bin (Size: 4 MB / Downloads: 26)

These are the Eeprom Chips but files are not good !
I can give Others but before try anything other best to be sure You get the
Right Dump of them !

--- Flash Devices Found ---
W25Q16BV ID:0xEF4015 Size: 2048KB (16384Kb) = W25Q16V
W25Q32BV ID:0xEF4016 Size: 4096KB (32768Kb) = W25Q32V

May be Chipset intercept them into otherside MoBo and They are nearly !
The problem now is to read them right and it seems an issue of Clip . . .
It seems very strange that W25Q16V is flushed (empty as It contains the Descriptor
and ME Regions) so You didn't wrote them but only Bios Region so the W25Q32V !
I think something different is happened . . .
let me know
Regards

Ok i will post some pictures soon with what the software shows about the chips.

P.S. is it possible to got some driver issues because i'm using Windows 8, and all the drivers on my CD with drivers are for windows 7. Windows find the drivers itself.

P.S. You can use Sleep Bug too . . .

Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64)

Let me know

Do you know where abouts on the motherboard the chip is so I know if I need to take it all apart or not?

Thanks
