Backup is useless. It is simpler to download the original BIOS on HP website, drivers support category. Search your BIOS in this website with the model of your personal computer.

Do this exactly

Download THIS and unpack it on a fresh FAT32 formatted USB Stick AKA Pendrive. You will see two files on the root, E.BIN and C.BIN

Power off your laptop, insert the recovery USB Stick AKA Pendrive in one USB port, press and hold Win+B keys and while keeping pressed both keys power on the laptop. You will see activity in the pendrive if it has activity led, wait patiently and it will flash back your original bios and reboot automatically when finished. Then just enter again bios and load defaults.

I Have an Hp Dv6 6199Sp and I have a pain in the [censored] Insyde H20 Bios running sp55068.exe F.1B Version.

Has you could have guessed... No advanced options...

I was trying to get my hp running a hackingtosh but for that i need the advanced options changed in bios...

Can you Please give me a hand ?

I´ve searched the forum and found some topics on the subject but the linked ones where you dropboxed modified version of the file dont work...

My laptop( Hp pavilion g6 2149Tx) bios has no ahci mode. It is Insyde H2O f24 bios... How can i change to AHCI mode...

hallo im new on this site sorry for my english thank you for your work i have a dv6 2123el that is the same of dv6 2125sf the  difference are the hd i've 500gb vs 320 of 2125sf and maybe ram i've 4gb the same processor and same gpu.
So i think the same bios and motherboard (hp 3659mb).
 I've tryed to download the modded bios for 2125sf but the link is death .
now i ask if anyone may bringme this file or a new link where i can download it.

p.s. i need the modified bios for  whitelist  i won't change wifi card and  bluetooth that go with mac os . now i use an usb wifi adaptor.   i won't change the processor i3 330m that not exist in the apple processor list an not connect the pc at applestore and icloud.

Yeepeee! !!!! It's not a real problem :-) My BIOS wasn't ok because my HDD was in IDE mode because I'm crazy. So WITHOUT my HDD, I can acceed again to the BIOS and put the good parameters (AHCI). I will test AHCI in one hour.

Explain please.... if you choise ahci only in bios you need choice in windows in regedit too. or install clean windows. i cant to understand why was trouble if ahci and ide its compatible with sata hdd
