X220 Computrace Removal?

Hi All

I've got a Lenovo X220 that I purchased off eBay, it had seen better days so I have refurbished it with new casings 16gb ram etc. Its currently running linux which is awesome and the modified 1.43 bios from here which allows for 1866mhz ram etc.
There is one small problem, computrace is activated! Anyone have any ideas how to disable it? Either by modifying the hardware or by changing the bios at source and re-flashing?
If anyone can help I have an image the bios chip which I can provide.
Alternatively i'm not afraid of trying it myself, can anyone point me in the right direction for software to edit the image?
