so i just want to confirm with you, i should make usb floppy drive or usb flash drive, use hp format tool with phoenix recovery and after clean format with boot files, first file i should copy is phflash16.exe from my original bios .iso, so this way it will be the first file copied to the first sectors correct? then i can test out key presses with and if the floppy lights up it'll indicated the correct key press.

by the way can you give me a link to phoenix recovery that you recommend to be used, because there are alot of different hp tool format utility's also, just want to use the one that most definitely is known to work.

tried a new usb stick , pressed fn+B win +b and tried ami ctrl+home, no luck, i guess floppy might be an option, i also reset cmos battery, i'm going to try disconnecting the battery but i don't know. last thing the system when it was getting flashed it stated erasing block, then shutdown how does phoenix bios recovery work if bios is wiped clean?

this is what a sager reseller told me

that's messed up, they use nonsense to recover the bios.

extract the zip, copy and rename ph1691.exe to phlash16.exe
and d9f_09cs.ls3 to bios.wph

run wincris.exe to format & copy your usb flash driver.

if it isn't work, you need to try lots of different phlash16.exe versions which can support your latop CMOS memory type

there saying the motherboard clevo/sager use's can only be recovered with a special tool, they protected there bios, thats what reseller told me, unless anybody can prove otherwise.

sorry wrong file. the files for floppy driver only.

this is for usb flash driver and floppy driver also.

there are lots of phlash16 version. but try on your phlash version.
