I'm looking for a bios upgrade (preferably AMIBIOS CORE version 8.xx.xx.) to SMBIOS V2.x which will include Smbios structures that will use the full potential of Intel ICH7 and 945G chips. Further, the upgrade should also address issues like :
1. No Smbios structures in the bios and smbus returning error
2. Upgrade of PCI Express shown as X1 to X4 or X8 or X16 (as possible)
3. Primary Slave Drive - ATAPI Incompatible issue at boot (DVD RW)
4. Full IDE Enhanced and/or SATA ACHI capabilities
5. No TV Sound problem in PCTV Stereo Tuner Card (possibly pci configuration issue)
6. etc..

I think that the bios in this 'unknown' chinese made motherboard has not been written with its full ACPI 2.x/ECHI/RAID/SMBIOS/SMBUS features enabled by the manufacturer. Hence, I'm attaching the 'Z945C010.ROM' and 'SIV_SAM.txt' files zipped to 'Z945C010.zip' for creating an upgraded bios for this motherboard. 'Z945C010.ROM' as been created with 'AFUWIN' with /O option. Thanks in advance.

I HAVE THIS MOTHERBOARD THIS SUCK CHINA.......BIOS...

i hav updated version of this bios but its 1mb not 512kb....

so cannot be install.....

if you got any update then tell me, i am unable to use my p4 2.8ghz processor with HT technology it detect only 1.87ghz suck

My board too came with FSB set as 533 MHz. I searched the web and found that there are 3 jumpers FSA, FSB & FSC each with 3 pins. Now to get 800 MHz FSB (or 2.8 GHz CPU speed) u'll have to short the jumper pins as follows:
FSA (1-2); FSB (2-3) & FSC (2-3). This worked for me!

If this doesn't work 4 u, try a combination of above in some sequence by elimination method. Although, I don't think this should harm ur board in any way, u never know with a Chinese board, so use this advise at ur own risk.
