I'm getting Error 280, I'm assuming it has something to do with secureboot (which I have turned off though? I have Linux/Fedora 21 installed..). Is there anything I can do about that?

You mean I'd have to jtag the UEFI flash and manually overwrite it?... eh.. meh. I guess I'll settle for this mediocre 2.4ghz N thing then, I'd love to have used this 5ghz AC card.. I think with your Version it won't work.
Had a Thinkpad 130a few month ago with BIOS 2.52 and it worked perfect.

don't use Bios Mod for Others users as It will create a CLONE loosing all your
Significant Data (UUID, Serial, Model etc.) and more is there is saved a PWD
It will lock irrimediably the Bios !!!

Open fparts.txt into Bios Mod folder and replace these rows :
W25Q32BV, 0xEF4016, 0x2000000, 0x1000, 0x20, 64, 0, 0x60, 80000
W25Q64BV, 0xEF4017, 0x4000000, 0x1000, 0x20, 64, 0, 0x60, 80000
Save ans retry,if you got again the error use 0xc7 to replace into both rows 0x60 values.
