Thank you but i too got Error 280.
Is it possible to avoid this if I downgrade the BIOS to a previous version?
YOu can try, but I don't think You will able to downgrade like to avoid
error 280 As once Eeprom is been Write Protect only SPI Programmer
can rewrite Bios Mod !

Hey guys,

I would like to remove the whitelist from my bios too please. Here is a copy of my current bios.

https://app.box.com/s/r19l7417jcvr3e066pjqvff56rya2mhc

I am playing around with a Yosemite hackintosh project and the Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 that came with the laptop simply doesn't work. I'll be replacing it with one compatible with Mac OS but the whitelist wouldn't let me boot with the new wireless card. Only wireless and sound to figure out and it will be fully up and running! Big Grin

Thanks in advance and I really appreciate your help!

Cheers!

I TRY TO USE THE TOOL TO BACK UP BOIS .BIN THIS FILE CAN HELP? http://rghost.net/8yLZG8GMr
Hi,

Hopefully my English is good enough to explain everything correct.

I need a whitelist removal because I want use a Intel AC 7260 instead of a Broadcom bcm94313hmgb
which is installed into my Lenovo Edge 130. (I was using long enough overcrowded Wi-Fi 2,4 GHz... It's time for 5 GHz. Big Grin )

I've attached you the backup file (hopefully the correct file format) of the flashed BIOS (H4ET92WW - 2.52).
My Lenovo Edge 130 has the following model number: 33588DG

It would be very cool if you could make a whitelist removal for me.

Is it possible to flash such a modified version back to an original Lenovo-BIOS
without to make changes in the original-BIOS (=like described for an original BIOS on the Lenovo-website)?

Thank you!

tp-friend

No only downgrading can change the Eeprom State !

@BDMaster: Attached the wished file.

EDIT: The first file (from my first posting) was a *.rom file.
I saw now that I made that with the wrong command: fpt -d backup.rom -bios
(This was posted by another user.)
Now I made it again with the following command: fpt -d bios.bin -bios
Like you described in post #61 (this thread).

I don't remove the "results.rar" so you can decide which one is better/easier for you... Wink
And/Or which one makes it more possible to work.

Thank you!
