Hi,

I am actually trying to get the same card installed in the same model. I'd like to get a whitelist removed on the 2.54 BIOS.

The error I get when I boot up is:

1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the miniPCI network card (8087/07DC)
1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the miniPCI network card (8086/08B1/8086/4070)
System is halted

I would like to use a 7260-AC Wireless card in my Lenovo Thinkpad E130 too. But I have the same problem like al the others - the whitelist in the BIOS. Please can one of you create a BIOS mod without the whitelist?

My BIOS backup was created with Universal BIOS Backup 2.0.

Hey BDMaster,

I totally forgot to point to my little details of the flash. As you may have seen, you patched my Lenovo E130 v2.54 firmware, which is (as all version from 2.53 and up) write protected.

I used my good old DP BusPirate v3 as an spi flasher and flashrom to program. It worked out well. See here: http://www.danand.de/index.php/electroni...protected/

Not reflashable only using an HW SPI Programmer !
