Hello,

I have a Samsung NP900X4D laptop and I would like assistance with getting AES-NI enabled on it for encryption acceleration.

The latest BIOS which I have installed can be downloaded here:
http://sbuservice.samsungmobile.com/uplo...P11ABK.exe

I have also posted a link to a 7z archive of the contents of this BIOS installer extracts to my OneDrive here:
https://1drv.ms/u/s!ArX7-6HxdVrnqBOprY9Byrko0teA

In there you should have the .cap files that make up the firmware image.

The issue I have is that AES-NI isn't available on my system, and there is no BIOS option to enable it even though I have an i5-3317U CPU which has AES support.

The AIDA64 CPUID report is attached to this post.

I think that's everything needed. If you need more from me I'll be here to help. Thanks in advance.

I can't seem to backup my BIOS.

Every time I click backup I get an error pop up from Winflash:

Please select a correct BIOS image!
Error code 107
I've attached a screenshot of it to show I'm not crazy.. I don't understand what the problem is I'm just backing up the BIOS.
Copy P11ABK.cap with new name BIOS.WPH to WinFlash's folder
That got me further but another error message:

Error: Driver fail while locating SMM service

Success! I've uploaded the 7zip'd rom dump to my one drive here:

Next step:
fptw64 -bios -f bios.rom
Make a screenshot of the result.
