My Emachine E442 have the same problem and a specialized technician confirm that 60-65° C is normal for. It can up to 80-90 easily, without CPU damage, but i usually prefer stay under 70-75°. But it's not possible at all with my E442 notebook Sad

Actually, the only issue i've found is to cool as i can : first install a cooling pad (very usefull when i loss 10-15 °). Second, you can "mod" your case by making little wholes at pertinent places (sorry for my english). I've read some tutorials wich explain how to optimize cooling with just some wholes.
please tell me the how you can upgrade your video card BIOS? Notebook - packardbell TS11... sorry to bad english

Hello

I went through many topics on this forum but i couldn't find any direct answear to my questions. I have Acer Aspire 7750G Win7 Pro x64 with i7-2630QM AMD 6850M and 4 gb RAM with official Acer v1.21 bios.
I have many problems with this laptop, most with GPU and i need unlocked bios to change fan temperature values.

1) Will this bios work with 7750G? Someone in other topic referred to this one but im not sure?

2) Which bios is better?

Brightness, HDMI Audio all Work.

Still need fixing 1366x768 Resolution at boot time for Clover & XPC Bootloaders.

Hello, did you experienced some performance gains? or temp difference? I am using stock 1.21 on TS11-HR with GT 540m 1GB and i can overclock to 775Mhz core / 900 Memory stable freq and the temp is 85-90Celsius after 2 hours of GTA 4 or crysis 3 - No throttling after applied new thermal paste even after few hours of gaming.

I am wondering if i will have some benefit after flash this modded bios, either in temperature decrease or higher OC possible
