I have ACER Aspire 5755(G). I need to initialize VT-d in advanced settings in BIOS. Can somebody please help me with appropriate download link?

Note: I tried the links by user: Akbar102 - the first link updates the current BIOS, but does not show advanced settings. The second link does not work.

Thank you
Can someone fix how uefi acts? From USB it works for any OS. From HDD it found just windows.
Currently im using this workaround:
-rename your efi file to bootmgfw.efi
-follow windows efi partition directory tree

that way i was able to boot any efi from HDD..
Before i found this workaround, i used USB stick with Clover soldered to bluetooth port (internal usb)

Is it possible to fix this bug in BIOS?
I too have problems with windows 10 1909 fast startup (uefi). It wont boot at first but will boot after a resart. How to fix this ? I am using 1.21 unlocked bios
Hello,
I'm new here, I've read some post already regarding the bios but I'm looking for a particular bios for the old bios for my laptop
Motherboard: Acer jv51_hr
Bios installed: 1.21
Laptop model: Acer aspire 5755g

I would like to have an unlocked bios that has UEFI Boot option because the one I have now is only for legacy, and fan control, VT options,
thanks and I hope someone will fulfill my request regarding this matter,
Hello i unlocked bios for uefi. However, I do not think it works very stable. I want to return to the original biosa. If I download the bios file from acer's site and run it directly, can I go back to the original bios?

Bios installed: 1.21
Hello, I have an Aspire 5750-9292. I have been running the 1.21 Unlocked with vBIOS 2158 with no problems. I entered a key code with the laptop powered off that was meant for InsydeH20 v5.0 not v3.5 that this laptop is using. The key code bricked my laptop with only a solid cursor in the corner when I powered up the laptop and nothing else.

I tried to reflash BIOS with usb stick using recovery (Fn & Esc) and will not trigger the blinking power led to flash the bios. And now only boots up to a blank screen and nothing else.

Has anyone been able to recover from this? I'm not a noob to bios updating and this has really stumped me.

Any advice?
Hi friend, use Andy's Phoenix Tool to extract the Bios Recovery file name if you want , it is P5WE0x64.fd ...
So get the original stock bios 1.21 and extract by winrar or 7zip tool the bios file and rename it if different, then follow this guide :

Thank you for the guide. I did actually find this video before and tried it multiple times and it wouldn't work. I never got the power LED to blink when holding the Fn&Esc keys and turning on the Power. But I tried anyway and left the USB stick in and waited over 20 mins. multiple times and it never did anything. I couldn't even turn off the laptop without pulling the battery and power plug.

BUT there is more to my story! I was trying using the left side USB 2.0 port for every attempt. Finally I decided to try the right side USB 2.0 port and even though the power LED never blinked, or seem to do anything, after about 2 mins the laptop rebooted and it was working again!!!

After that I tried to enter the BIOS on reboot and could not access it no matter how fast I pressed F2. So then I booted into windows and reflash the BIOS and was able to enter the BIOS again. Also I reflashed the 5750 Unlocked BIOS and everything is running good again!!

I hope this is helpful to someone. ALSO I feel I should say that if you see someone say to press a key combination to UNLOCK menus in the BIOS to be VERY CAREFUL, especially if you already have an unlocked BIOS! I saw a post on another board to press multiple key combo with the power off and that is what bricked my laptop.
@Warlord721
Many thannks to report all your experiences to help other users, my friend ... this will be really helpfull into the future !

By any chance, something to be done with Windows Fastboot without using CTRL+ALT+DEL? I'm on 19043.1466: either that or turn it off in Power options. I've tested several including the ones that said they would work: 1.20 Hackintosh. Thank you very much in advance!
