Too bright or too dim? Brightness control is available from the OS, and drivers can be found by device ID. But all this hardly applies to discussion about BIOS.

Unfortunately, after flashing the Z380_Z480_Z580_BIOS_MOD_V3.1_FINAL bios, the screen brightness problem occurs. The screen is dimly lit and the brightness cannot be adjusted in any way.

К сожалению, после прошивки биоса Z380_Z480_Z580_BIOS_MOD_V3.1_FINAL возникает проблема с яркостью экрана. Экран тускло светится и яркость никак не регулируется.

Проблема вроде в том что ты скорее шил с версии 5FCN95WW, там писал кто то о том что нужно сначала прошить на версию 5FCN35WW и только потом шить модифицированный БИОС

And for the SN and UUID - I can create a custom bios.bin with your desired SN and UUID - bare in mind UUID is in Hex format

Also has anyone else run into issues with the CPU being constantly maxxed out and getting abnormally hot? I just replaced the fan and re-pasted the chip, even pulled the heatsink off to re-spread the thermal paste.

Yes, this is right. Due to flashing the bios, it stores SN and UUID so I've removed them, its nothing to worry about, if you can provide the SN on the back of the laptop I can make you a custom bios.bin with your SN but it won't matter.

Please make my bios with SN QB06239510 and any random UUid, Thanks!

Is there any possible way to simply update the sn and uuid with a utility? This moded one or the Lenovo factory bios? I spent a ton of time fiddling with the Golden Key U1 and older apps, etc., and none work for the Ideapad Z580. My SN and UUID were also wiped, but fixed the black screen o death on a friends old Z580. It would be great to put these back...

Send me the serial number/uuid, i can insert those back into the modded bios
