Wink
I need to change the DVMT pre-allocated setting, I guess the setting is hidden and the Bios needs to be unlocked.
I already tried changing the setting with the grub shell and setup_var but got error code 0x000...8.

Here is the link to the latest bios update tool executable:

Here is a list of anterior versions:

Thanks for the support!

PS: Here are my Bios settings:

PS 2: I see in your profile you do OSX native management, does this mean I wouldn't need any 3rd party bootloader like Clover or DSDT/SSDT patches?

Bad news!Your bios chip is rewrite protected!
Bios mod can be flashed using SPI PGM+Pomona SOIC8 clip only!
If you have/buy these tools so we can continue!
You need programmer which supports this chip
GD25Q64
Let me know if you want to continue.
PS.This issue can tell all about patched Hackintosh PM
http://donovan6000.blogspot.de/2013/06/i...ement.html
In most causes you not need patch PM DSDT.

Thanks for the details, I've got an Arduino Uno and two Raspberry Pi laying around, is it possible to use those as programmers if I get the right clip for my Bios chip? How do I know if a programmer is compatible with the GD25Q64?

Else I'd like to buy with PayPal but I can only find offers from China that take a while to ship, do you know how I could get a programmer?

I'm donating 5$ for your diagnostics, they've helped me getting further at least Wink

I checked and there is software for the Raspberry Pi that supports probe/read/erase/write for the GD25Q64.
I bought a SOIC8 connector (not from Pomona, a cheap knock off I think).
I'm now waiting for the shipping, I've only got one question: How do I find the chip on the motherboard? Is there a way to find schematics online?

Edit: I think I found the Chip, I'm now waiting for the Rest to arrive.
