Hello everyone, i have toshiba satelilite c660-1j1 (pscone-011012y4) and and after i upgraded cpu to core 2 duo t7300 i get error that 02f0:cpu id: fa no microcode update loaded for alternate processor, i tried to remove cmos battery but i it didnt help. im attaching backup bios if anyone can unlock it or atleast update the microcode. Another problem im having is laptop battery is dead so is there some command or something to forche winplash to bypass battery requirement.

Let's try to update microcode without BIOS editing.
Make DOS USB-stick (e.g, by Rufus), download and unzip all files for the modded version of CHECKUP7 to this DOS USB-stick.
Install your T7300, boot from this DOS USB-stick and make a photo of the screen with results.

PS: i found t7700 on aliexpress for 3 euros, does it have the same microcode as t7300 or would i need new microcode update?

OK. Now download this file, rename it to PEP.DAT and copy (with replacement) to your DOS USB-stick.
Boot from your DOS USB-stick and make new photo of the screen with results.

I did it, its says its only temporary and it has tto be done every time, second picture is first boot after update.

I tried, but winphlash gives me error that says my battery is below certain percent or is not detected(battery is in laptop buts is stuck at 0% because its old and 3V, i tried dissasemblying battery and mannualy connect it to laptop charger but it wont charge).

Hello, Sorry for reviving an old topic, but I really need your help.
I have a Toshiba Satellite C660-1FE, PART NO: PSC0LE-02M01FGR, SERIAL NO: 1B115469K. I know it's an old laptop, but I still use it because it's connected to my security cameras. I had to replace the CPU, and I installed a T7300 instead of the original Intel Celeron. It worked without issues, but at startup, I encountered the error: "02F0 CPU ID: FA No Microcode Update Loaded for Alternate Processor", and it prompted me to press F1 to resume or F2 to enter setup.
I tried my luck with a BIOS update shared by DeathBringer,  name:C660_170_6FB.zip. The error didn't go away, but I believe something like an EC update occurred.
Since then, the fan has stopped working. Could you please share the latest compatible BIOS and EC versions for my laptop?
Even an older version would be fine. I just want to fix the fan issue. thank you.
