[REQUEST] Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E330 (H3ETxxWW) Whitelist Removal
#1
I subsituted Intel Centrino Wireless N-2230 with Intel Centrino Wireless N-6235 and now current BIOS 1.15 shows the "1802"-message. Does there exist a flashed BIOS for Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E330? Please help me! Thanks a lot.
BIOS: http://support.lenovo.com/de_DE/downloads/default.page?
name: h3uj05ww.exe
size: 2.64 MB

But Look here :

AutoMod ... All Patches and files to realize the bios mod by ourself !

Hello. Can anyone please remove WWAN whitelist from this BIOS:

-Manufacturer: Lenovo
-Motherboard Model: Thinkpad Edge E330 3354-AG1
-Bios revision: H3ET31WW (1.14)
-Bios Type: Phoenix EFI
-Bios Download Link (via Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0): https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6255....14%29.rom
-Lenovo package link: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/...uj04ww.exe

There is also newer BIOS version on vendor site, but utility wont flash, just writes this to log:

Error : Fail to initialize flash.

Error code = 203

I suspect this could be caused by Secure Boot or some other option enabled, but i cant find any mention of those in bios setup. Also boot cd image they provide doesnt seem to be bootable at all.
Should i maybe try to install latest version under DOS and get back with newer ROM backup? Or Lenovo's flashers are somewhat special and simple DOS wont make the trick?

Thanks in advance.[REQUEST] Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E330 (H3ETxxWW) Whitelist Removal

Same request for me:

Lenovo Thinkpad E330
Model 3354-DSG
Bios version: H3ET72WW(1.09)
Original bios: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/...uj54ww.exe
Bios backup via FPT_Backup-Bios.exe: http://www.datafilehost.com/d/e996158c
Currently running: Intel Centrino Wireless N-2230 with bluetooth (PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0888&SUBSYS_42628086&REV_C4)
Would like to run: Intel AC-7260 with Bluetooth

So, disabling the whitelist would be the best solution.

Thanks. Before flashing I compared the new bios with my old and I believe the new bios is not mine, but for Alexandr88. The embedded Windows key is not the same as in my backup bios. I believe you have switched the bios files Smile
