LENOVO / IBM A57 BIOS Unlock Please
#1
Question
Hello there! Can anyone please help me with unlocking this BIOS? My motherboard is a G31T-LM v1.0. This motherboard has an unlocked FSB (only via SetFSB and not in the BIOS) and wish to overclock the CPU (Pentium 2.2GHz E2200 dual core) but the problem is the RAM (DDR2 800MHz SDRAM 2x 2GB) as this causes crashes when the FSB is increased. The CPU will therefore only overclock by about 100MHz. There is no facility to underclock the RAM or modify the CPU settings at all which is what I need to do so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Detailed BIOS and system information is provided in the screenshots below.

My desktop motherboard is like the picture below.I think the name '' Lenovo ThinkCentre A57 'should be.
Problems do not allow any changes to the bios of this board.
There are over intel processor E8400.
It also has 4GB of 800MHz DDR2 Ram.
Processor does not give full performance.
If necessary, I can take photos.
Bios mode, this goes to so much information, I am waiting for your help.
What can you do for this motherboard.
Thank you. (English they can be bad.Sorry.)

Post screenshots of first (CPU) & third (Mainboard) tabs of CPU-Z.
Then give me a link to your native BIOS.
And please make good fotos of your motherboard.

I don't see any problems with support E8400 on your G31T-LM.
CPU sets multiplier to 6x for power saving. CPU will set multiplier to 9x when you run some intensive programs.

Thank you for your answer.
I understand very well what you said and you're right, of course.
The picture below in ''CPU Configuration'' does not exist when there is no option to enter the processor settings.
Where can you place the ability to change the CPU multiplier Important manually.
This is what I really want to ask, and I wonder.
Thanks again.

Your BIOS hasn't any "locked" options for CPU tuning. So I think no one can help you.

In addition, I found the file on the links below.

But I do not operate that I did not know exactly what the contents.

It's AMI SLIC Mod for your BIOS. It's used for offline activation of Windows.

Thank you for everything.
That means that I never meant I can not change the value of processor on the motherboard.
