Hi, I'm quite new of this field so I'm sorry if I can repeat old and boring questions.
I have a Lenovo Yoga 2, 13 (not Pro) and I want to replace the WLAN card but it seem to be a whitelist that prevents the replacement.
I've the 1.16 vrs. but the newest is the 1.17.
So my questions are:
1. Have I first to upgrade to the new vrs before to flash the modified bios (is then better I do this and then send you the backup of my own bios in 1.17 vrs for let you modifidy it?)?
2. Have I necessarily to downgrade to the older vrs before to flash the modified bios in order to remove write protection or I can try to flash without that procedure?
3. Can I flash the modified bios without SPI Programmer or have I to buy it? What do you think?

I attach the result file and the backup of my bios from my computer, furthermore I attach also the newest vrs of the bios as I downloaded from Lenovo site!

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Simone

Hi mate,
on your actual version 1.16 You can flash the Bios Mod using the Sleep Bug
menwhile on version 1.17 not !
So doesn't update the bios and use this one !
Here You go :

http://rghost.net/6jqWDRZ47

Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64)
