Hi all

I would like to upgrade my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro WiFi card to Intel AC7260 (Model: 7260NGW)
However, after i replaced the WiFi card, i got Unauthorized Wireless network card is plugged in message.
Could someone kindly help me fix this?

Laptop model: Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro

I would like to be able to install a new wifi card as the old one is not working well at all.
I tried putting in the Intel 7260NGW Dual Band but the whitelist won't allow.
Also, tried to modify and reflash Bios and it won't allow that either.

I downloaded the latest bios 76CN43WW but it didn't help.

I have the same issue and after trying to find a solutions for a while now this thread appears to present the only solution 

I would be very thankful for a custom bios as well - no clue how to do a BIOS dump however...

I'm on an old 76CN38WW BIOS. Should I first upgrade to the 76CN43WW? Or is it better to remain on an older version? Also do I need to do anything fancy like boot from a Linux live CD to run this hack to enable the advanced BIOS settings, or is that what the whole "sleep bug" was supposed to work around?

If there's anything I should take into account, such as how to restore if i brick my laptop updating the BIOS, would be good to know too.

Same here, I've actually purchased 2 7260NGW Wifi cards from 2 separate vendors, one random on ebay and one from a vendor on Amazon who others had success from but both just result in the 'unauthorized card' message.  

I have bios version 76CN43WW on my Lenovo Yoga Pro 2.  I'm not sure what utility to use to make a bios dump and flash back.  Advice would be welcome so I can replace this crappy unreliable stock Wifi chip.
