Possible bypass RSA check?
#11
Will work,since is same BIOS
Don't remember what stage is that upload.
If you can wait I"ll search on my old HDD (on many test file and folders to locate latest version)
-no whitelist for wifi
-unlocked all tabs
-custom settings on load defaults

Later edit
new link

Take note,EFI boot is available,EFI bootable devices are detected but except EFI shell all OS hangs.
So set EFI boot disabled and or Legacy first boot option.

have i to rename 01439_ok.fd in 01439.fd?
What do you mean with all os hangs, can i use windows? I'm only interested to put an ac7260 intel wifi card instead of the bcm4313 i already have.
Thank you and sorry for my noobness Big Grin

No rename.
Just run InsydeFlash.exe
It hangs only in UEFI mode,UEFI mode and UEFI OS install
In legacy works fine.

So, I have an HP G72 B66US, board id 1439, version f.48, and an Intel AC7260 waiting to be installed. Am I correct in assuming (from my limited knowledge) that this bios for the G62 is the same as the G72, and will work?

Edit:
Pointless post I guess... I ran InsydeFlash.exe and it was done in no time with no issues. Running the Intel AC7260 now. Thanks for making the mod!

I've modded only one sp6xxx bios, and that was the sp61028. This is only because this bios was one of the former moddable RSA bios. I didn't do anything special with it.

...

Is that determinable by the file size of the rom as compared to mine being almost twice the size?  I'm guessing that size difference is the RSA sig that gets written as well, no?
