Ok friend,
try this one, if It will fail then I will prepare a second one where I will use all Whitelist records writing into the same ID Card (new one) and We will see where is the issue.

Let me know

P.S. I wrote this data 8087:07DC:0001 0000 Blutooth into WiFi Card Slot

Still the same error about 8087/07DC Huh

is there a chance to disable the Bluetooth funktion on this card??

8087:07DC:0001 0000
------------------^---- why this "1" ??

It's a SubClass parameter !
Now I will try to do the second test !
New Mod replacing IDs into Withelist records (Slots).

Try this one I fulled all slots with the same ID in different forms :

Sorry but still the same.

Ok friend,
I asked help to Serg008 a very experienced Bios Modder (The Bigger on MDL)
and He replied to me about this Mod, so here there are two files.

1. based on FPT backup http://rghost.net/57858147
2. based on PRG backup http://rghost.net/57858157

Both are done using Serg008 Patch on Whitelist Module, I am sure this time will work, so try and Let me know.

Yes, it works, no problems anymore.
(just to Bluetooth devices at one time who are fighting Big Grin )

I used the second one based of the Hardware Programmer.

Is it possible to programm the first one with FPT and without a Hardware Programmer? because it is as big as my FPT backup.
Or is it the same mod and just has to be cut to fit??

Did Serg008 explain what he did ?
Is the WhiteList deaktivatet or did he add the device to it??

Do you want to try anything else because my Bios chip isn't solderedd yet??

Ok friend,
Thanks to Serg008 forever !!!
It's not possible to use FPT to reflash Bios Mod as your Eeprom is Write Protected
and Prr.exe ore Prr2.exe cannot bypass the Protection, so only an SPIPGM can write It like You have done.
I suggest if there is space enogh to solder the chip on a socket adapter and connect it to your soldered wires by jumpers . . . then use some tape to fix it.

Look here :

http://www.futurlec.com/SMD_Adapters.shtml

About the explaination I will post a detailed comment to the patch code.

Questions about the firmware:

1. Is it a customized firmware per individual laptop?
2. If its not customized per individual laptop, is it a different firmware for the X230 than the X230T?
3. If I understood, the original poster flashed a firmware that skips the bios whitelist check completely. So, what is all the fuzz about changing PCI/Vendor IDs?

Hi friend,
I wiil reply to your questions to explain a little bit the about requests :

1. Yes !!! Bios Mod Customized as Bioses today are RSA Signed and Encapsulated !
-. only way to reflash It back is Recovery Mode or FPT Intel Tool basing on Backup

2. Bioses for different Platform are tiny different, but structure are almost the same

3. Some Intel PCI Cards have a Bios own on board (Card Firmware) that lock the -. removing whitelist, so normal unlock doesn't work !

4. About Blutooth issue is an HW issue and tapingPin #51 You can resolve It

Let me know
