Hey guys,

I have been at work getting the other ASUS M2n series boards to where this one is presently, with some promising success. Still working on future plans for this board, especially because I haven't ehard whether or not anyone has gotten the X6's to boot.

Phenom MSR Tweaker is great but after reboot my Phenom II is always running at slow frequency. After every boot I must manually go to service
and click on APPLY.

It sucks little bit.

New modded bios could be great.

ThanX

Hi aasifdm,

The Phenom II 920-940BE CPUs are your best bet price per performance and compatability. As long as you are on this BIOS or the latest beta BIOS from ASUS, this CPU will work.

As for the GPU, I cannot remember if the Radeon 5xxx series worked well with these boards, maybe some of the guys know better.

Thanks,
TheWiz

Hi,
I got the 1802 beta bios working on my m2n sli deluxe with the Phenom II 955 125W and always have to put the cpu multiplier to 16x via the nvidia system tool. Is there newer beta bios for this mb that's able to handle the multiplier issue? Enabling the cool an quiet (.../or by OS) would be also great... I am grateful for some replies!
cheers,
andy

We haven't solved the multiplier issue yet but the latest BIOS we published for this board was the 1901 beta, which doesn't really affect your setup.

UPDATE: We are now studying a copy of the AMD Developer guide for AMD CPUs. Hopefully we can fix the multi issue in the BIOS by doing it with good old fashioned ASM.

Hi,

I tried to get my Phenom II x6 1100T to work on M2N-SLI Deluxe using 1901BETA2 bios, but without success.
CPU is identified correctly and setup works fine, but it hangs - just after POST and HD detection - with a black screen and blinking cursor in the upper left corner of the screen without accessing any disks.

[edit]After disabling fast POST I could see the system stall during ACPI initialization.[/edit]

Is there any update on x6 support for M2N-SLI Deluxe?

clueless
